BE FREE – recovery program for addicts
BE FREE – recovery program for addicts
* We briefly present our vision for a long-term program, which we want to be effective and successful. We think about the lives of all those who struggle with some form of addiction, but also about the lives of their loved ones.
We want this program to be fully implemented as soon as possible, but that depends on the resources available. If you think you can contribute, contact us.
The addiction recovery program, which focuses on alcohol addiction but can be extended to other addictions, consists of a series of steps designed to help people with alcohol abuse and addiction problems recover. The program addresses both the specific problem of alcohol addiction and general aspects of addiction in general.
The goal of the program is to provide the support and resources necessary for participants to overcome addiction and rebuild their lives in a healthy and balanced way. Our ultimate goal is to enable individuals and their families to break free from drug, alcohol, and other addictions, supporting not only immediate recovery but also emotional and social recovery throughout their lives.
At the heart of effective addiction recovery is the understanding that overcoming substance abuse requires a multi-pronged approach. This philosophy guides the long-term addiction recovery program, a comprehensive initiative designed to support individuals on their journey to sobriety with a variety of specific projects and resources. The essence of this program is to address not only the symptoms of addiction, but also its causes, providing a sustainable path to recovery.
Program overview
Our recovery program will cover several critical areas, each tailored to meet the diverse needs of those struggling with addiction, particularly alcoholism. We recognize that recovery is a lifelong journey, and our program is designed to be flexible, supporting individuals at different stages of their recovery process.
-
AA support group
The first building block of our program is the Alcoholics Anonymous support group, which meets regularly. This group provides individuals with a safe space to share their experiences and challenges related to alcohol, to gain support from peers, and to receive guidance from experienced counselors. It is a place for both newcomers and those in long-term recovery, where they can find community and encouragement.
-
Educational workshops
Knowledge is power, especially when it comes to addiction recovery. Our program will include educational workshops covering a wide range of topics, from the science of addiction and its effects on the brain and body to practical strategies for managing stress and avoiding relapse. These workshops are designed to give participants the knowledge they need to understand their addiction and make informed decisions about their health and recovery.
-
One-on-one counseling
Group meetings may not be suitable for everyone, so we will also include individual counseling sessions in our program. These sessions provide a private setting in which individuals can address personal issues related to their addiction, with the guidance of professional counselors and therapists who specialize in substance abuse and mental health.
-
Family support and education
Addiction affects not only the individual, but the entire family. Our program will include specific resources and workshops for family members, helping them understand addiction and learn how to best support their loved ones while also taking care of their own well-being and mental health.
-
Health and wellness activities
Physical health is a critical component of recovery. Our program aims to provide opportunities to participate in regular fitness classes, nutritional counseling, and other activities designed to help participants rebuild physical strength, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being. These activities promote a healthier lifestyle that supports long-term recovery.
-
Employment and vocational training
A stable and fulfilling job can be a significant factor in successful long-term recovery. To help participants re-enter the workforce or improve their employment prospects, our program will provide job training and placement services, either directly or through partnerships. The goal is to engage local businesses and organizations in creating opportunities for program participants.
-
Follow-up support and relapse prevention planning
To ensure ongoing support beyond the initial stages of recovery, our program will include comprehensive aftercare planning. This includes ongoing access to support groups, regular check-ins with counselors, and avoidance of potential triggers to maintain abstinence.
